The Big Announcement...

So I've been slowly leaking the news over the past couple of weeks, but there's no quicker way to get the news out than via blog!



Ta da! Two lines says I'm preggo! We found out the night before we left on our cruise, so it gave us a bit to think about while we were gone. We decided to wait a couple of weeks before spreading the good news, due to my last pregnancy resulting in a miscarriage. Considering the bountiful morning sickness I've been enduring, I think we're safe in sharing the news! We were planning on waiting a couple more months before we were going to try for a little bean, but God apparently had different plans for us. Shoot, that's been the story of my life for the past 1-1/2 years LOL. I think one thing, He's definitely got something else in mind! Not that I mind, it more or less gives me a chuckle because it always works out for the better when things happen that way.

Now that the news has sunk into our brains and we've had some time to mull it over, we are quite excited about expanding our family! Katelyn is in desperate need of a sibling and I can already tell she's going to be a wonderful helper to me when the baby comes. She's already checking up on Mommy and making sure she's "feeling better". She also has tried to comfort Mommy during her puke fests, since I'm a little too occupied to tell her she doesn't HAVE to stick around while I do so. She also likes to tell people that there is a baby in Mommy's tummy. She's going to make a great big sister, although I have a feeling she may try to turn into a little Mommy herself to her little sib haha.

Current due date is June 23, 2009. We'll see if there are any adjustments to that date with measurements and ultrasounds in the near future.
