Okay, so I know it's been a week and a half since I had my ultrasound, but things around these neck of the woods have been CRAZY! Especially since I spent half of that time not even NEAR a computer (I know, you all can pass out now). Anyway, for those of you who haven't heard already, we are having a....
A GIRL (as you can see above haha)!!!
The ultrasound was hilarious because when the ultrasound tech announced that our Lil Snert was a girl, Katelyn looked at her quite sure of herself and said "Nuh uh, he's a boy!" She wanted a little brother to rough house with SOOOOOO badly that she just couldn't believe she was having a little sister! Now if you ask her what the baby's name is going to be, she'll tell you it's "Baby Boy", because gosh darnit! A baby boy will exist whether by gender or name! HAHAHAHAHA!!! She's starting to get used to the idea of having a baby sister because we've been telling her ALL the things she, as a big sister, can teach the baby. So Katelyn is now starting to get a little excited about a little sister. Give it a few more weeks and I'm sure she will be just as excited as she was about a brother! ;)
I'm measuring about a week ahead of my dates, but I'm 100% sure about what my dates are, so we are all pretty sure that I'm just having a bigger baby this time around. Oy. Then, of course, Nate tells me after the ultrasound that babies on the larger end of the scale tend to come out on his side of the family. Double oy. I suppose that is something I should have researched BEFORE we got pregnant LOL. Kidding, dear!
We're still working on names. I really hadn't thought much about names before the ultrasound, especially girl names! It's like I had some sort of mental block about names and I just couldn't think of anything AT ALL. We've found a few that are possibilities, but nothing is set in stone at this point. I seem to be leaning towards Scottish names, though, so we'll see what we end up with!
With a girl on the way, Nate will most definitely be outnumbered, poor guy. Let the hostile estrogen take over begin! *Evil laugh* ;)

My sister and her husband have 3 girls. I'm not saying it will or won't happen with you guys...but who knows.

Yay! How fun. I am kind of jealous! Savannah needs a sister. Someday ;) And I know all about big babies. Don't worry, I didnt think the deliveries were any harder with the big ones!
Congrats, two girls is really alot of fun. Your little sweetie may want a brother now but will be really happy to have a sister later when they can play together.

Yeah for babies! That is awesome that you are having a girl! I am excited for you! I know what you mean about the name thing. My hubby and I went through that name thing too!
