September 5th

It's officially set folks! Nate and I are getting married September 5th! All I have to say to that is halle-freakin-luia! It's about time we can set a date! Now, I'm sure you all have one question on your mind...

Did we get an answer from the First Presidency? Not yet. Let me explain. We found out a couple weeks ago that the First Presidency requested a letter from Nate's bishop to add to the paperwork we have already sent. They said they have looked at everything else we have sent them and are pretty much ready with a decision, but we had to get that letter sent off from Nate's bishop before they'd send us our response. So basically we expect an answer either way here in the next few days, so we felt it safe to set a date because we will be able to get married either way. It's everyone's theory that the First Presidency will be granting the cancellation of the sealing and that we will be able to get sealed the day we get married. I hope so. So we are going ahead like that is what is going to happen, but if for whatever reason they say no or that they want us to wait a year before we get sealed, that's fine. We have plan B still lined up if we need to get married civilly.

At this point, I'm just elated that we have an actual date! It almost felt like we were going to be engaged forever! It's just a big sigh of relief that we have finally can say to each other "just a few more weeks......................."

oooh, you guys are gonna do it! bahaha just kidding!!! but seriously, that's rad, I'm happy for you guys! That's my parents anniversary too :) speaking of which, I need to give you both mine and their addresses for the announcements. Did you guys do the matri-money???

We checked into the Matri-money thing and they said you had to start an account there. We didn't exactly want to start another credit union account (since we each have one already), so we were wondering what to do. We stumbled upon a honeymoon registry for Carnival, which essentially is the same thing, just honed in for our honeymoon instead of a general account. We hope everyone thinks it's a good idea too and bites on the idea!
